Thursday PM

Our afternoon was filled with lots of administrative tasks. We had to exchange dollars for pounds, write thank you notes, get a few souvenirs, and of course pack. Packing was a huge challenge. We had to pack a small bag for our evening in London and our trip to Amsterdam. We also had to pack a suitcase to ship home. It took several hours to accomplish. Dinner was next, our last dinner. We had a wonderful meal to end our voyage on the QM2. I had the escargot again (Kathleen, these beat La Cave hands down, if you can believe that!) and mom had the lobster ravioli. For our main course mom had the rack of lamb and I had the filet which must have been about 10 ounces. It was just wonderful. We decided to call it an early evening since we had to get back and have our bags out before midnight. We made it about 11:30 pm, all packed and ready to leave. On to the next stage of the trip!
